Capturing autumn joys in golden figurines

GINZA TANAKA, a luxury jewelry and precious metals boutique brand established in 1892, has just opened the newly-renovated ground floor at its flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo. The revamped floor now houses a modern, bright atmosphere, giving customers a delightful shopping experience.

Launched alongside the renewed flagship store is the new pure gold figurine collection “Gift from El Dorado” that features various items from nature. Figurines of walnuts, pistachios, peanuts, coffee beans, red peppers and chestnuts are made almost to scale, shaped from molds taken from the actual items to realistically depict the minute details like creases, fuzz and roughness on the surface. Just like the real ones, figurines of walnuts and peanuts have nuts inside that can be taken out of the outer shells, making fun, rattling noises when shaken.

Walnut #1 (1,800,000 JPY), Coffee bean (55,000 JPY each), Peanut (650,000 JPY). All items made with 24 karat gold, prices include consumption tax.

Combined with gold that in itself is a blessing from nature, these figurines truly remind us of the rich harvests the earth gives us. The adorable figurines make a perfect gift for any occasion, be it birthdays, weddings, golden wedding anniversaries and this year’s gift giving season. The items are available at GINZA TANAKA’s Ginza store and the online shop.
